Print Copywriting
Client: Brave the Shave, LLC
I had the pleasure of working with Brave the Shave, LLC to develop their marketing and brand strategy from the ground up. The nonprofit aimed to expand its efforts beyond an annual fundraiser and hoped to become a bigger part of their local community, make bigger impact, and raise more funds.
I initially worked with the creative team to develop the organization’s website. In doing so, we better demonstrated the organization’s mission and how they are making impact in the community, with the goal of leading readers to either donate, participate, or nominate a grant recipient. The brochure is then a print extension of the website’s copy, offering a general overview of the organization’s story, mission, and efforts in the Grand Rapids community.
The ultimate goal of this project was to introduce Brave the Shave to future donors or participants as more than just a golf outing. I worked with the creative team to develop a brand tone, identify the organization’s unique selling point, and create an emotional connection between the reader and the copy to evoke involvement and support from the Grand Rapids community.
